October ‘24

To be honest…

I don’t even remember the first half of Oct other than getting packages and seeing Grandma for a bit before rushing back up to the mountains.

THEN I took part in an event at last minute and it’s taken over my life for a good two weeks. Just sitting and doing commissions! I’ve so many that I am trying not to hurt my back, but it’s so intense I feel my shoulder blades hurting? I don’t get how that happened but regardless I’m taking it easy while working to start some projects I’m eager to get into!

If you’re interested in seeing the commissions look HERE at the Crown Arts Emporium Event at the bottom. We traded in-game gold for these commissions.

Crochet stuff (Christmas presents mind you) and Journal / Planner things. I of course haven’t been up to clean my studio while working on commissions, but with any luck I’ll be able to finish when Dad finally comes home for Winter. Even a little help is nice around here.

Realizing how much I hate the Cold, I’m trying to rework my living space to accommodate the new heating system we have. I’d really like to be comfortable all Winter so I can remain productive. There were a few days last year, not many - but still, where I couldn’t leave my room because it was just warmer in there. I KNOW totally pathetic but I must remember I’m a basic creature with basic needs and they have to be met in order to keep myself happy. If I were EVER stuck somewhere I can indeed say cold/outdoor elements would be my #1 concern. Shelter first. Then Water. Then Food.

Speaking of warmth I’m reminded of all the wood we STILL need to split and store. I hope it’s enough. We were short by one week’s worth last year. It was almost perfect. Almost. This year I’m hoping for less storms and more clear sky! I can tolerate cold if I have sunlight. LOL very basic creature indeed.
