November ‘24
Week 1 & 2
Did I need to spend loads of money on Amazon? Yes and No.
I do need a much larger size jacket cause I’ve increased in mass to my adult form. Same form. Different size? Makes no sense. So I got a new jacket. Some pants. More wintery things to keep me warm. There’s a whole story about it…but you’ll have to hear the story from me in the next Mountain Vlog on YouTube.
Discord voted! New big illustration is going to be Sylvanas Windrunner. No pressure.
All that being said…
Dad came home on Halloween Day. Since then we’ve done a few things. I learned how to turn the water off (with my own schematics), Poured concrete under one of our foundation pillars cause it was sinking, split and stacked wood, hammered some pipes into the ground so I could put up my fancy post lights, and now Dad is building a box for my Jeep where I can keep car things & tools. Couldn’t have possibly been productive at all. OOH!! And pruned our tree next to our house which is like 5 stories high.
On top of all of that, I’ve caught Dad up on his Movies for the fall. We watched Alien Romulus, Deadpool & Wolverine, Beetlejuice, and we caught up on Season 2 Rings of Power. There’s a few more we are missing but for now that’s all the time we had. Now I’m so tired I go to bed at like 6pm. It’s nuts.
Week 3
Umm, we’re now the proud owners of a dog. Out of nowhere! I know. Working on getting an introductory video out on YouTube. For now, say Hello to George. I wanted to call him Shaggy, but he listens to the name George. So we’re sticking with it. It also fits him very well. He LOVES snow.
I picked him up on Sunday the 17th. So clearly from this point on I’m spending a lot of time training him and taking him for walks. He also comes with anytime we go to town. It’s a lot of extra work, totally worth it, but understandably I’m very VERY busy with him and trying to keep all of my winter plans together.
AND YES, the cats are not happy. They did pretty well considering we don’t have doors and their space was suddenly invaded. They tolerate that he’s here but they spend most of their time away from him and hiding in their window boxes.
I’m taking part in an Art Secret Santa, handling a Giveaway, and doing a cute Christmas Art thing with Elu! Craft projects include finishing a Kraken Crochet Hat for a present, and 3 scarves for Mom. If I can help it I’m not taking on anything else so that I can get a few other things ready for next year!
Week 4 (Sunday)
This next week although not finished I can tell you there will be much art and hanging out. We go down just for the one day on Thanksgiving to Grandma’s because we still have so much to do here. We’re behind on the wood splitting we wanted to be done with. But it’ll get done the day after I’m hoping. So I’ll end it here! Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
