December ‘24

Week 1

How is it already DECEMBER?! Where the time went… I mean I would say that I don’t know but I do. I remember it all. Shesh.

Immediately back on the Illustration Train with Sylvanas as you can tell from the line art on the right. She’ll make a nice coloring page someday. :)

Had major crochet project from Mom. But as always it’s paid for so I don’t mind. Made 4 scarves before my birthday so she’ll have them on time. I also managed to finish that Kraken Hat! It wasn’t too difficult, but it’s a shame I can’t make a full video for it.

Speaking of which I am spending a lot of time editing videos. Gaming videos or just general art videos I haven’t gotten around to yet. Either way it’s a work in progress for those all the time.

Week 2

So far we’ve stuck to our streaming schedule and I’m very happy to be moving along with books/art/games finally.

Monday I gave George a bath and I had one after to move all the dirt-filled water through. Tuesday is cleaning and video editing! Finished the last Mountain Vlog of the year I think.

Birthday weekend was also lots of shopping! I was trying so hard to video while we were out and about but I get so caught up in going from store to store as fast as possible to avoid people. It was actually pretty empty everywhere we went and the people were pleasant, that’s a first.

Week 3

This week we got a little off-track but only because we’re trying to finish shopping before x-mas! It wasn’t too bad, but it was chaotic and stressful when I found out my doctor’s office moved and didn’t notify anybody. Other than that it was all about getting things for the tractor on the mountain.

There’s a lot of stress building up for x-mas, mostly because of George. It’s going to be a full house at Grandma’s and I’m trying not to panic about it. Also, George needs a bath before we go, he is currently FILTHY. He needs some hair conditioner after running a muck outside. I also need to do my own hair but I may wait until after X-mas.

I’ve definitely noticed how much less time I have for just myself with a dog. I mean, I could be a jerk and ignore his needs, but I’m too soft for that. So all of my things are on the back burner. Plus Grandma will appreciate him not being filthy and making HER house dirtier. Hehe, she already is late on cleaning for x-mas so I will do my best to make sure we’re spotless.

Week 4

Cleaning! Mostly the Jeep and House. I’ve got everything ready for going down to Grandma’s for X-mas and of course it’s a good thing I did, because by Tuesday it was SNOWING! While the mountain is having a white christmas we’re going to be down in town. But returning makes it all the while as there was only about 2 inches of snow! Poor George was heartbroken to have a bath and then not be able to go outside. Snow is his absolute favorite weather thing.

After Christmas:

Is it just me? Or was everyone sick around Christmas? I had the wonderful pleasure of concocting a migraine at 2am. So my day was full of “Just trying to survive” which I did rather well. It was a great time with the family, more social time for George. We got home by 10pm? I went straight to bed. Thankfully it wasn’t too bad but I’ve been slow ever since. Not taking a legitimate break this month has also been a big pain. Next year, we’ll know better. Ready for that new year vibe! Let’s GO!!!!!!!!!
