Buying Courses Online
Now, before you go wasting away your precious money on these I’d like to talk to you guys about a few things.
A ton of people are going to read this outright and immediately HATE me for doing this, because it’s going to perhaps stop you from filling their pockets. Not to say that buying courses is a bad thing… just hear me out.
There are literally hundreds of Artists of varying skillsets and niches who’re making GOOD money right now.
How are they doing it? They are offering you something you can’t resist!
Courses that claim to teach you everything you need to know to make 10k + each month!! -le gasp- what a dream they are selling!
Fun FACT: You don’t need them.
Their marketing is designed to make you think that you do. Telling you that all your problems will be solved if you just take their class / course / mentorship! How you’re going to get one-on-one help from the PROFESSIONALS.
Does this sound familiar?
The absolute TRUTH is that you’re only filling THEIR wallet.
Not yours.
How about those people who try to get you to buy their cheap e-book? I’ve done that a bunch, and let me tell you I didn’t learn a single NEW thing that I didn’t know before reading those.
Any FREE online workshops!? I’ve done those too! They all tell you the exact same thing. Low level information meant to entice you, but when you see through the same game they all play it becomes crystal clear.
It’s all only designed to help people who are on the bottom of the food chain of this enticing career change, but they haven’t even started trying to build themselves up or practice their chosen profession.
Now if you DO want to spend money on someone who has courses or mentorships, this s how you properly go about it.
Follow your Artist or chosen “professional” you think is so amazing, so great, that you can’t say no. Follow them for more than 3 months. Their socials, their YouTube if they’ve got it. Watch them work, learn whatever you can about their processes that you can SEE. If they have a Twitch account and you can watch them work in real time that’s even better. Now understand that your following of this person is already supporting them in a great way. You’re viewing their content. That’s highly valuable to them.
After a decent period of giving them your attention, it’s likely that you’ll trust this person enough to know that they ARE hard working, and worthy of you. Do you trust them enough to pay good money? If the answer is yes, then by all means go for it. But the difference is that you’re not just some chum who’s buying a random course you found on an AD. You’re supporting a specific person who’s opinions, processes, and way of creating are in sync with yours or your desires to start.
Onto the main struggle.
What is it that you wish to do? What skills do you already posses or wish to posses?
What things INTEREST you. It doesn’t have to have a rhyme or reason. It’s personal to you.

Have I made my point? It can literally be ANYTHING.
You’re just sharing your love for something and that doesn’t require that you take a class or get a degree. These are things you can share with other people. You don’t have to make training videos or tutorials. You can always do Behind the Scenes, share Pictures, simple things that would get a small story out there. A story by you. People like to consume CONTENT. Just like you. Just like you’re trying to do by going crazy spending money on all these courses that are telling you the same things.
Funny enough, GOOGLE and YOUTUBE are your friends. There’s always someone else doing or trying something similar to what you’re doing. Do your own research first. Don’t just dive right in thinking these courses are going to have a guaranteed fix just because other testimonials claim it’s amazing. I’m begging you. Support someone you believe in. They appreciate your support. Don’t be a number to some stranger.
