1st Week of June

Cintiq Monitor Arm

Exqueeze me? Who dis?! Let me state, that without this thing, I don’t know how I’ve survived. Dad came home Tuesday RIGHT as stream started. I spent part of stream assembling this dumb ass arm with the most incomprehensible instructions. How did I do it? SMARTS. And pictures. It was downright terrible trying to read it. But once we had it together and Dad helped, I finally got to try out my floating Cintiq. You guys…

This was the BEST decision I ever made. It hovers slightly off the desk so it’s nearly in my lap. MY BACK DOES NOT HURT FROM DRAWING! This little miracle maker is my favorite purchase this last decade aside from the Cintiq itself. Like the ipad where I recommend you ALWAYS get the apple pencil no matter the price, if anyone ever gets a big tablet of any kind make sure you buy an arm to go with it. NOT optional. GET IT.

To Town!

Now that Dad has arrived this first week of June, we’re heading down to the lake town for Mail and PIZZA!!!!!!! Other various grocery days in the big down this week at the cheap store! And Lowe’s. Dad will be up on the mountain for as long as it takes to build some cabinets he has for a client. So we need a big time town run. I’ll be sure to fill in as the month goes on, cause there’s a lot coming and a lot of new things getting worked on.

2nd Week of June

Commissions & Photoshop/Art Tutorials!

Finished my first commission this year, Charlie! She looks so good! Client was very happy and so am I. Especially coming back to my Cintiq.

I’ve discovered I no longer have upper back pain. We’re now back to the lower back ONLY pain which is because I have a terrible chair. There’s something to be said for ergonomics. I’ll get around to upgrades eventually.

Working on Tutorials! The photoshop extras are hard to work through but I think it will be very helpful.

Hit 700 Followers on Twitch! YAYE! We’re growing!

Managed to draw and set up a bot for a cute Channel Point set of rewards. I can’t do as much as I thought I could with the bot, but it’s at least suitable for small cute things.

3rd Week of June

Art & Things

Discord community voted on Xal’atath. She’s coming out nicely! I’m trying to make a 4k Desktop version and then a 24x36 inch vertical poster version. The designing aspect as gone so well I can’t believe it. Now to get the Environment/Background to fit in a throne room situation.

Starting Photoshop/Art Series! It’s been broken down into segments that I can record and just edit together later. There will be at least three parts, but whew it’s definitely EXTRA on top of all the things I’m already doing.

I have been talking around with some people and I think we’ve decided to officially stick with the name of my Graphic Novel: Erion. Mostly because it’s easy and easy to remember, but we can also add arc/volumes that are different. Ex: Erion: Dawn of War, Erion: Dreamwalkers, and so on and so forth. So it’s time to work on an official Logo/Typeface. Then redesign my Map for this website. THEN get a whole look into the story as a preview. Totally fine.

4th Week of June

Filming & Videos

So far there’s been a lot of time dedicated to filming of other videos and editing. Probably more than I’ve even explained thus far. It just happens as I’ve got spare time which is almost never. I should have gone to bed last night for example, but instead I spent an extra hour doing that Photoshop Tutorial. Not onto the editing yet so I’m not sure if I’ll like it or stick with it. MIGHT re-record even. Just don’t know til I get there. But I’m also so tired already this week that it’s been crazy having to find the extra time for things I really want done ASAP. Mostly so I can justify spending the time on Novel things. But Elu likes to hit me up in the middle of the night sometimes with an idea and then it gets my ideas going. She is such a wonderful person to bounce ideas off of. LOL!

Games

There’s been an influx of games added to my Steam Wishlist. One in particular was on such a sale I managed to grab it. Been so cool having the time to share a bit of new and cute game stuff. I raided my dad’s old CD-ROMs and I have a list of old games I think we’re going to try and install and play. So far The Phantom Menace from 1999 is running, and Heavy Metal F.A.K.K. 2. Going to try to finish up some of the games we are already playing on stream, then see about these older games. SO MUCH FUN!!!

Literally just finishing up the month with confirmations and plans on vacation as well as future projects. Everything is going and flowing and I couldn’t be happier!
