April ‘24

Oh my gosh, April. Where do I begin?

It’s been pretty busy, although sinking into more of a real life kinda busy not work busy. I feel like I’m sacrificing work for getting household things done, but that’s okay. Our Starlink adapter went bad. We got another to install here soon, but it essentially made it so that we had internet in all of our buildings on the property. It didn’t effect me until recently when I decided to move my whole pc setup to the new studio which is 200 feet away. Now I need it. I also need to decide on a permanent setup so the Art Streaming can continue with my Cintiq. So close to this finalization goal!!!

Dun Dun DUUUUN

We’ve also just checked our internet up at the new studio. It’s working PERFECTLY! Should be able to get that setup going ASAP!

In other news, still reading the second half of Throne of Glass series. I’m on Queen of Shadows and about half way through. Loving the whole story so far! It’s going to be a big review once these are all completed.

There’s a lot of gaming going on right now. We’re currently playing Return to Moria: Sandbox Alpha, Nier Automata, and Tomb Raider: Underworld all on Twitch! It’s been so much fun and very exciting to be able to hang out and just play some games for you guys. Though Return to Moria is my personal request.

Next, we fixed the bathroom floor! And even upgraded the toilet. Best decision made and it’s improved the quality of my living space so much.

Although I’m a bit bummed that no Novel work got done this month, it didn’t seem likely when I realized I needed to be in town for a week and a half. I have SUCH a huge haul, and it’s crazy. I’ll do my best to make a Vlog of it. On top of that still doing Commissions, and now picking up a small job putting together a children’s book.

I’m grateful for the work opportunities even though they always come in a big wave. Being tired but happy is the weirdest combination. I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts. Look out May! Here we come…
